Cedar chests have been for centuries Treasured
We are always looking for ways to protect our most valuable assets. Of course, for our homes, cars and properties, we have insurance, and high-tech equipment theft protection and alarm systems. However, when it comes to our most beloved possessions, including family photographs, old letters, fine linens, baby shoes, or quilt a grandmother, we prefer the time honored, tried and true method of putting them in our cedar chests.
Indeed, there is something special about a cedar chest. The mere sight of it brings us comfort, and it's wonderful, unmistakable aroma seems to soothe our souls. Moreover, addition of backup memories that we intend to pass down through the generations, too, is a priceless legacy. Cedar is ideal, however, because of its innate ability to repel insects and resist decay, and distinct, fresh, aromatic universally appealing.
