Which game console should I get?
I am trying to decide on getting one of the following for the game: Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PSP, 3DS or PC. I'm not sure which one to get, so I need some advice. Here are some things to consider: 1) I primarily a solo player, playing all my home games. Sometimes me and some friends play. 2) I am not a hardcore gamer. I probably only play for 2 hours every night. 3) I do not play online because I have a really crappy connection. 4) The games I like are: fighting games (Street Fighter, Tekken, Mortal Kombat, Smackdown vs. Raw, etc), 3D action / adventure games (Sly Cooper, Prince of Persia, MDK, Tomb Raider), the Burnout series, Sonic the Hedgehog, Aliens vs Predator and old-school sprite-based games. I do not like RPG games, strategy and sports. Advice would be appreciated 
PSP or 3DS are perfect if you travel a lot. The sounds of it though, you'd be better with a PS3, Xbox 360 or PC. On a PC, you can download a emulator and roms for the old sprite-based games, and many games are available for a PC. Many of the games you listed, however, are mainly systems available on the console. After it is a matter of preference. I own both PS3 and Xbox 360. The PS3 is great because its access Online is free and it plays Blu-ray. I think the Xbox 360 controller has a more ergonomic and more comfortable and much better, although pay to play, online system. This is really a preference. Given your lack of online play, I suggest you PS3 for Blu-ray.
