installing vlc media player to cellphone?
I got the files from youtube and then downloaded and converted it to mp3 using vixy.net. since the songs are not in limewire. But the files turned out to be the kind that when you click it it'd say 'open with' and it wouldnt open unless you use the vlc. The icon looks like a bondpaper with folded top right corner with abox with 6 colorful boxes in it...lolz..
So i want to install the vlc media player to my cellphone SO BAAAD!... But i dont know anything about installation.. So im asking if its possible. If it is, and if someone out there knows how, CAN U PLZ TEACH ME?? pwety pweez.. im begging you... =(
how about changing the file to a REAL mp3 file so it can also be saved to an mp3 or any file that would make it play to wmp or real player??? possible?

There is a free convertor called ffmpeg u can use to convert between audio and video formats.Its free to use and is a CLI program.If using the CLI scares u and u need a window interface try erightsoft's super encoder/decoder.It's a good encoder/decoder gui which can help u a lot.U can also try the real/wma/mp3/ogg format in it.
Installing an app on a mobile is very difficult unless its a j2me application.
VLC i believe isnt one.VLC uses direct hardware features on your PC like the direct[x/3d] interface or Opengl interface for video and alsa or oss or any other interface for audio.Your mobile might not be having all these interfaces.So you can search out if there are java apps which are players which can run on your mobile's arch.
