Where can I find Good Home care for my Mom and Dad?
They're getting older and cannot care for themselves anymore. I guess I need a nursing/retirement home for them , anyone know of any good ones?
A friend of mine used a caregiver service http://findinghomecare.com They not only give you the option of a nursing home/assisted living, but also have trained and knowledgeable caregivers that can come to your parents home and provide assistance to them. They have all kinds apparently, from helping with getting around and medication reminders to full blown care by a registered nurse. Anyway, wish you look in your search. I'd try the care giver option first. Home care gives your parents more freedom to be independent than being in a facility.
