How to choose the right color flow for a sitting room tips.?
My sitting room is painted white and I've got antique nook dining beanch set on one corner. A very ugly grey sofa which I hate covered it with a cream cover to match the curtain. Now I am really lost with my colors and what kind of rug/carpet to put in the middle to give it a sence. Please help!
You have pretty neutral colors, so you could just about go with any color. Find a piece in your home that you love, pick a color from that, or that color, and then go with it. As far as the rug goes, get one that has the color in it ,that you pick for your walls.
Go to home depot, and just check out some of the colors, pick a couple and just get them in pints, try them out on the wall, too see which one you like best. I would highly suggest this, lol I learned my lesson the hard way. I picked one color bought it, and hated it after I got the room painted lol. Needless to say, I spend more money and time, because I didn't do that.
