Guinea pig food questions

Question 1: Is this a good diet plan for my guinea pig(?):
A small cup of veggies a day (romaine, carrot, grapes, tomatoes, etc), a handful of pellets, fresh clean new water, a handful of hay each night and a bit of his deluxe dog-bone (organic) every second day.
Question 2: I buy Kaytee hay, and the first bag was great; it smelled of freshness and fields. Now, whenever I buy a bag, it is always gross, dry and brittle. Is this because of the season?
Question 3: What are some good brands of guinea pig pellets (under 10 dollars per bag)?

The dog bone is organic; no meat or anything, it's made from solely organic material (mostly carrots)
Guinea pigs need mostly dark leafy greens. Carrots should not be fed every day. They are sugary and high in oxalates. Grapes and other fruits should only be fed twice a week because they are sugary.
Veggies that can be fed every day are romaine, green leaf, red leaf, escarole, chicory, cilantro, butter lettuce, green bell pepper and zucchini. Then they should have a rotation of 5 other veggies.
They only need 1/8 cup-1/4 cup of pellets so a small handful would be good.
Do not feed dog bones. Guinea pigs are herbivores and should not be given anything that is for dogs. All they should have is veggies, hay and pellets.
Kaytee hay sucks. Its very stemmy which guinea pigs don't like and can poke them in the eye. Hay needs to be soft and leafy. Avoid anything kaytee brand. Oxbow, kleenmama, and sweet meadow have good hay. Kleenmama is only online. http://www.kmshayloft.com/
It seems expensive but its actually cheaper than most hay. I think it is cheaper than kaytee hay.
They need unlimited hay, not just a handful.
The only acceptable pellets are Kleenmama (best pellets ever), oxbow, sweet meadow and mazuri 5664. Only mazuri 5664. The other ones suck. Kleenmama is cheaper than oxbow. Mazuri is the cheapest but only get that if you cannot get the other kinds. Even though they may be more expensive they last a while because guinea pigs only need 1/8 cup a day.
You should get your guine apig a buddy. Guinea pigs are herd animals and will get depressed and lonely if not in pairs. You can look on petfinder.com or at shelters and rescues. Get one that is the same sex as the one you have now. So if you have a male, get another male. If you have a female, get another female.
EDIT: You still should not give him/her the dog bone. Guinea pigs should not have anything cooked. No cooked veggies or anything. They dont need dog bones anyway. They get everything they need from hay, pellets and veggies and hay trims their teeth.
