Boston Terrier Crate?
I am the soon-to-be-owner of a Boston Terrier puppy, and I was wondering what size crate I should get for her? I plan on getting a Midwest Life-Stages Double Door crate, and I'm just not totally sure which size to get. Also, what would yalls ratings be for Midwest crates? Also, are Bostons big chewers? What kind of toy should I get for her? I've read online that getting toys with stuffing, i.e. plush toys, can be bad because they can rip and the stuffing can be swallowed. Is this true? Finally, what kind of bed should I get for the crate, and do I need another bed outside of the crate? And are orthopedic beds worth it? Thanks yall, I appreciate it.
well having a puppy myself and going thru this only just 6 months back let me tell you..get a crate that you think is a little too big, they always come with dividers that you can put in them to make it smaller while the dog is getting trained..i wouldn't suggest getting a bed for it, because it will go thru seperation anxiety and chew it up..my puppy did. and don't get stuffed toys cuz they will tear thru them and eat the stuffing. I have a midwest crate and i love it, easy to put up and take down. get tough toys that are fun to chew but won't break easily. don't go all out at first with buying this cuz most likely they will get ruined quickly..wait till she gets old enough and trained and then spoil her then!! good luck and congrats
