Valve required to relieve on pressure drop?
I would like to know if there is a valve available which relieves upon a pressure drop
I want to pressurise a small vessel to around 30 psi (2 bar) with air. If the equipment the vessel is attached to uses an amount of air, and as such the vessel pressure begins to reduce, I would like a valve to then relieve the vessel fully to atmosphere. The pressure at which the vessel relieves needs to be adjustable, in the region of a 5 psi drop, 10 psi drop, 15 psi drop etc.
If anyone knows if there is such a valve available, which doesn't need external electrical or pneumatic connections, I would be most grateful in finding out where from and what they are called.
There is a way to do this using pneumatic switching valves. you just need one that will open on loss of control air.
