best friend with kid that gets on your nerves ?
I have a best friend that is also my neighbor we share a twinplex its hard to make plans with her a go over to her house because her 4 year old son doesnt listen to her or anyone back talks destroys furniture and whines things arent his way and I have 10 month old son who isnt a saint either but he knows what he's aloowed to play with and not I let her 4 year borrow my sons movies to watch and he says their his or wont give them back because he says my son dont need them and when are families go out to eat together we got to go where her son wants to go or he throws a tantrum and walking on the booths and under the table and wont eat the feed him like a baby like I have to my son and its making me not want to hang out with her as much unless he's a preschool let me know what I should do?
I wouldn't spend too much time with him. He sounds pretty nasty and may become a bad influence on your son as he gets older. Not to be mean, but she really should learn to control him better, especially in public. If she questions you about why you don't visit, just be easy but honest and tell you her son is just hard on your nerves.
Ask her politely for your movies back, reminding her that you did buy them, but don't push it too hard.
One of my friend's mother had a similar problem. She went to her friend's house and the woman's 5 year old son told her if she didn't give him peanut butter, he was going to kill her. Someone watches a bit too much TV, right?
