Help ! Tomboy needing business casual clothing ! ? !?
I am always a tomboy ever since little and I'm 21 now. I tried to dress girl and act girlie but it doesn't suit me and i ended up looking like a fool. I hide behind my tomboyness because that's what I'm used to and afraid to change (more like afraid to look worst) now I need some mature clothing for work at an office. I tried many female style business casual dressings but I look like a guy with long hair in it. My body type is rectangular so it's boyish which sucks because I really prefer an hour glass body. Does any fashionable people have any suggestions. Please people this is serious and rude comments please do not post. (I have enough low self esteem already.)
Look for some low-waisted, wide leg trousers, or maybe even trouser jeans if it is casual enough. Then try pairing them with a button up 3/4 sleeve blouse. It will be casual dressy but not girly! Wide legged or trouser style pants tend to be wider in the legs so they create a slimming outline, and with a low waist can create a more defined waist line!
Also, don't feel ashamed to go to a woman's store and ask a sales clerk to help you pick out outfits to suit you. You can tell her your style ("I'd like trousers, not skirts!") and then she can suggest styles to suit your body type.
