print file folder labels from excel 2007?

Trying to print file folder labels for Avery Template 5366 (20 labels/sheet: size 2/3" X 3 7/16) from excel.

You have to start in Word and do a Mail Merge (which really should just be called a Data Merge). To do this, suppose you have your labels in an Excel document called “Client” in a column labeled “ClientName”. You would open up Word, create a new blank document, and then go to the Mailings Tab. Choose Start Mail Merge, and select “Step By Step Mail Merge Wizard” and step through all the steps I describe here. In the Wizard, choose Labels, and under options, choose Label Vendor: Avery and style 5366. When it asks for recipients, select Use an Existing List, browse, and find your client excel file. Agree to the default settings.

Then, under Arrange Your Labels, choose More Items. It will bring up a list of your headings; click on ClientName, then Insert, Close. The header “<>” will appear in the upper left corner; change the font or colors on that header to match what you want the actual labels to look like. Then click on the button that says Update all Labels. This will propagate your header to the other labels. Finally click on the bottom where it says next/Preview all labels and you should see your own data in the desired format. If you like it, go ahead and print!
