What size speaker does my 1994 Dodge Spirit have in it's rear doors?
The Front is 5.25" I know for a fact, but when trying to install that sized speker in the whole in the rear door the hole is just a little bigger, and does not properly fit in it. So, much to the point that when I shut the door the speaker falls out. I thought 5.5" but I can't find any on the net or really anywhere. I don't think they make them, but I only tried one brand of speakers. So, it could just be the speaker itself.
I have also tried measuring it. It measures to be 5.5", but all the speaker sites say that my car supporst 5.25" Am I doning something wrong?
the extra is for the mounting brackets, the car companies are not going to make the hole the exact size of the speaker or it would not fit, right? it is the extra room to mount them.
your car can take 4" and 5 1/4" speakers.
