Trying to compare sofa quality: Jonathan Louis, Lane, Broyhill, Ashley?
My concern is with the cushions maintaining their firmness-- I realize these are all mid-grade brands, so I am not expecting an all-wood frame or anything high end. I can't find any comparisons/rating of these brands on line. We are looking at a sleeper too, so if anyone has any comments on the mattresses for sleepers, please let us know. Thank you!

Mid grade brands are not made of wood. They are made of wood by products. So look underneath the ones that you like the cushions. If someone bounces down on your couch, it will break the frame, so before you put your money into something that looks sweet, be sure the frame is there to support normal wear and tear.
