How should a christian family should easter?
We are planning to go to the sunrise service at our church. But after that we don't have any plans. How can we celebrate the holiday at home? We don't find any thing wrong with the usual easter festivities such as egg hunting we are just looking for a way to center the holiday more on God. Any ideas? or maybe some traditions your family has?
We will be going to Bible Study/Sunday School, Corporate Worship and a Sedar dinner in the evening where each element of the passover meal will demonstrate the pointing to Christ.
We got two gifts for my daughter that we will give her on Resurrection Sunday: (1) Baptist Catechism to Music http://is.gd/k7hk and (2) The Prince's Poison Cup http://is.gd/rQ3u
We will abstain from from the Easter egg hunt put on by the church and we are skipping sunrise service. At home we will have meals together, read the new book to our daughter and listen to the Catechism set to music.
We helped fill the eggs this week for the hunt, but we do not wish to detract from cross with an egg hunt.
