Whats a unique way of doing a guest registration / table assignment for a wedding?
Most couples would just do the traditional signing up or going to a registration table to check their table assignments. We would like to do something different. Hope you can share your thoughts/ideas. We're getting married in a few months. Thanks in advance!

Stick with place cards with the person's name and table number. Anything else will get confusing.
However, the possibilities are endless with regard to what the place cards are.
For exanmple, our place cards will be mini Chinese take out boxes that have tags indicating the person's name and table number. We're having a candy bar inside the reception, and at the end of the night, guests will be able to take their boxes to the candy bar and fill it up, and take it home. We also considered Lollipops with tags (stick them in Styrofoam so that they stand up, and cover the Styrofoam with fake grass or something).
Think of something that would work with your wedding theme and style, try googling it and see what results you get. There's so much out there, and you're sure to find something unique.
