Does anyone see the Toronto Raptors being a dominant force in the NBA in the next 3-4 years?
I know I am saying this as a HUGGE fan, but there are a lot of young players on their roster. The oldest out of Derozen, Davis, Johnson, Bargnani, Weems, Wright, Bayless & Kleiza is only 25, and most of these players are the teams biggest stars. Their obviously not going to keep Peja, so they will have lots of cap room for more talented and experienced players. Raptors are 11-21, and are able to beat teams like Boston, Oklahoma & Dallas. Just wanna know your opinions.
You can't exactly tell which teams will be dominant at that time, but I would say the Raptors will not be dominant. You need a superstar and a few all-stars to be dominant. They don't have the pieces that could lead up to a dominant team. That is just saying way too much. They have good young talented players, but not up to the level that would make them at the top.
