From the moment you're browsing for the right upholstery of your modern sofa, you should know already if you're up for the task of maintaining it or want something low-maintenance. The fabric of choice can mean the difference between years of high-maintenance and a lifetime of low-maintenance. If you're placing the sofa is an area where it’s going to experience heavy abuse, opt for synthetic fiber. This upholstery is known to last and avert wear and tear longer.
2. Buy protection
You can expect your modern sofa had been treated with the right protection from the factory it was made. Manufacturers oftentimes treat sofas with soil and stain protection.
