I have a problem with some type of bees maybe Yellow Jackets and they seem to have a nest or something,?
Ok ive been noticing there are more bees in my backyard then a normal backyard should have and lately ive been seeing bees or Yellow Jackets fly into this hole going underground at the corner of a step which leads to the upper part of my backyard, and they just kept flying in and in and in and sometimes one would fly out after the others are comming in and i was suprised becuz i have never seen that many bees or Yellow Jackets in a minute or 2. Out of all that went into the hole like 2 came out and so i went inside. How do i get rid of them because i can barely get to the top of my backyard without walking like 1 ft. away from the hole. I think they are a type of bee but not sure becuz they are yellow and white stripped but they dnt look like wasps or bees but from pictures i've seen they look like Yellow Jackets.
You have a yellow jacket nest built in your home. They like the structures homes offer, and will often build a huge nest inside. (could be a 1000 bees or more)
1) Call pest control
2) Do it yourself with bee spray
3) Use a shop vac by rigging the hose up to the entry hole via a pole or something - turn shop vac on and let run several hours and you will have captured all the bees in your shop vac - be sure to spray INSIDE shop vac with bee spray BEFORE this process.
# 3 has been very effective for me.
Good luck
